Creating clear communication in a busy theme park is a challenge. Guests are bombarded with visual messaging as soon as they step inside the gates of the park, what you create needs to correlate with what’s going on around whilst doing its job of saying ‘I’m here buy me’.

 

For 4 years running Lego have commissioned Triangle Design to develop, design, produce and install displays for retail outlets at the Legoland Windsor theme park. Over the years we have created some stunning and innovative displays, in card and temporary materials as well as permanent fixtures for numerous brands including Ninjago, Chima, Friends, City and Star Wars.

 

One of our highlights was the 2 metre diameter hanging City display that rotated from a turntable suspended from the ceiling. This year, the refresh includes an update to the Star Wars store, life size Lego ‘sign posts’ for way-finding  in the Big Shop, a Lego Movie themed gondola plus an impressive 4metre wide permanent display cabinet to showcase fully built ‘Hard To Find’ collectors models that you can’t buy on the high street.

 

Our displays have proved really popular with staff and guests alike and have even found their way into other Legoland sites including the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester.

 

We’re looking forward to 2015 and our next Legoland challenge!
